Jesus literally gave me this song at night! He woke me up one morning with this rocky chorus with a beat and image of 3 kids rocking out on the stage at a rock concert ala School of Rock! I immediately recorded a simple guitar version of the Chorus. That same morning I was reading and meditating on James 4: 6-8, 10 (NASB) and those powerful promises became the stanzas to my song, as the Lord quickly gave me a melody to go with the chorus! Then the Lord reconnected me with the perfect rockstar musician to produce the whole song - Dan "Rock" Beaty!! Thanks to brother Dan's hard work and long hours to help birth my first Christian rock song!
We pray this song will draw you closer to your First Love and be a huge blessing to the whole Body of Christ and beyond!
